Every Friday evening, 'Showtime Productions', in association with Radio Onda Cero International (the Costa del Sol's largest English speaking radio station), present a competition called "Reach For The Stars". The show is hosted by Maurice Boland and takes the format of a singing talent show, live on air. Each week, three contestants travel to the studio in Marbella and sing a fast song of their choice. A panel of 10 Judges then phone in with their marks out of ten. The contestants then have to sing a slow song and the Judges then cast their votes once more. After four Fridays, there is a competition featuring the winners of the previous weeks and at some some stage towards the end of the year, there will be a competition held at a venue along the coast, which will be broadcast 'live' on Onda Cero International - 101.6 FM
